This, of course, being the Coronavirus pandemic. However much I am an optimist, I know things won’t ever fully go back to normal, or the normal we were accustomed to. And the world won’t suddenly snap back into working full speed again; it’ll be a delayed return, just like they are doing in Wuhan now. … Continue reading Things I Want to Do When This Is All Over | rosie abigail
With all this “free”/locked at home time, I’ve been in a little battle with myself. On one side, I have my anxiety fueled, workaholic self, who is annoyed that I haven’t been productive. Then on the other side, I have my self-care driven self, who is pushing for more naps and more snacks. Sometimes, the scales tip and I end up falling down one of those holes. But for the most part, I’ve been finding joy in balancing between the two! Although normal life has been pushed to the side, I’m beginning to get a kind of new normal routine, balancing my productive and self-care priorities. So, let me tell you what I’ve been up to in these weeks of self-isolation, between working from home, looking out of the window, and video calling my family.
Oh it’s felt like a loooong month. At the beginning of the month, I was getting back to normal life again after being stuck at home with an illness, and I’ve ended the month being stuck back at home thanks to the coronavirus (I don’t have it, I’m just listening to the government and staying … Continue reading March 2020 Favourites | Books, Style, Skin-Care, and more!
I’m sure I’m not the only person on this planet we call home who is feeling lost right now. We are living in unprecedented times, and that comes with a lot of anxiety and life-adjustments. For me, this weekend is all about celebrating the badass women I know and look up to, whether they be friends, family members, colleagues, authors, or celebrities. It’s the end of a cold and blustery month, and that can only mean one thing; it’s time for my monthly favourites! When I was a student completing my A-Levels, I came home one day to find a gift from a friend of mine on my desk. It was a little blue box with a post-it on top saying ‘Stress Kit’. A little puzzled, I opened it up to it full of goodies; a chocolate bar, a … Continue reading Making a Self-Care Box | Wellbeing
As I’m writing this, I have just finished up my morning skin care routine and feel like an absolute goddess. For years, I didn’t really care about my skin, and would haphazardly throw on some moisturiser as a make-up base, or try a face mask that would end up drying out my skin. But now, … Continue reading ‘The Body Shop’ Skin-Care Routine | rosie abigail
